in at least one business process
that resists all attempts at explanation.

I (perhaps inappropriately)
associate [cargo cults](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cargo_cult)
with this sort of business process
which is so complex
that criticism of it inevitably invites a [[courtiers-reply]].
