Two-Way Takeoff true

Two-Way Takeoff

Important

Complete emergency-systems-research before beginning takeoff.

[!info] See emergency-communications-systems for information about Two-Way and AoR communication systems.

System = "FA - Two Way Communication"

%% It's curious we use the longer of FCR to elevator lobbies/FCR to stairwells rather than just the total length, since in high-rises all stairwells with locking doors require communication systems per ibc_s0403#403.5.3.1 Stairway communication system. %%

Important

These are ICC definition two-way communication systems, redundant with the standard takeoff described above. These assemblies can be ignored unless given specific direction otherwise. Confirmed by joel-jansen 2025-12-08 in reference to 2100-crystal-drive.
