Lustig laments that "Strategic Foresight" is underutilized but waits until chapter 1 to define it. She conflates not using this specific technique with "not think[ing] about potential futures" and "fly[ing] by the seat of [one's] pants".
Strategic Foresight has a Wikipedia page, but I'll be so bold as to suggest that it shouldn't. It has the same problem as project-management-tm as the name of a discipline.
